PAX 2011-Thank yous
I have a lot of people to thank for the amazing weekend I just had at PAX Prime 2011. So let me get to it.
- To the enforcers who got us anything we needed without hesitation or complaint.
- To everyone who showed up to both of our packed panels. You were amazing audiences. The Blam panel especially was one of my favorites ever.
- To everyone who came to the live D&D game and to everyone who watched at home. I think that’s the most amount of eyeballs I’ve ever had on me at once. Staggering.
- To Wizards of the Coast for asking us to do the live D&D game and to Chris Perkins for being the most amazing DM I’ve probably ever had in my life.
- To Paul and Storm for being amazing minstrels. I never want to play D&D again without my own personal bards.
- To Wil Wheaton for helping us with some secret stuff.
- To the audience at our Late night show for staying and filming an en masse cameo for the Kris and Scott show.
- To everyone who came by the booth and bought something. PAX 2011 brought in, hands down, my largest con sales figures in a decade of attending shows. Your generosity is astounding.
- To everyone at Penny Arcade for allowing me to be a part of the greater culture that makes up what PAX is. I’m honored to be invited.
- To the guys at Riot Games for letting us try Dominion. Guys, I’m thinking a skin for Annie that has her in a scratch hoodie with a big lumbering skull following. Just throwing that out there.
An amazing end to my 2011 convention season. I’ll be staying put in Seattle for a while now. My travel for 2012 is going to be much less extensive than it was for 2011. I’m having to pick and choose which shows I do. But we have time to worry about that later. In the meantime we rest and recharge our batteries.
