It’s not often I do this, and by this I mean draw on paper with ink like some luddite. But this weekend I did a couple pen and ink drawings during a signing and thought I would put them up on eBay.
I do sketches at cons all the time but I never have the time to put any work into them. There’s the pressure of drawing something while people wait and I’m never happy with the results. Thank goodness you guys always are. It means a lot. But every once in a while people come up looking to buy original art and I never feel prepared to do anything nice for them on the spot. So this is something I would like to start doing more often. Drawing on the side, taking my time and offering it up for sale for the people who are interested.
The first original piece up for grabs is a pen and ink drawing I did of the 1940’s version of the Laughing Bat. It’s penciled in non-repo blue and inked with an india ink brush pen. The piece is drawn on Strathmore smooth Bristol and measures 11x17. The piece is signed and I can personalize it for the winning bidder if requested. Don’t worry about shipping. I’ll take care of that.
I’ve set the starting bid at one buck. So it’s up to you on how much you want it. Check it out here.
